How to Close Apps on the iPad Pro

So you’ve mastered the multitasking feature and your iPad Pro has basically replaced your laptop. But sometimes having too many background apps can slow down your iPad Pro’s performance.

To get rid of background apps, you simply just have to close them. If you’ve had any other Apple products, it’s a very similar process.

To Close Apps on Your iPad Pro:

  1. Swipe up from the bottom of your iPad Pro screen and pause for a second.
  2. You will find the “App Switcher” that displays your background apps.
  3. Swipe up on any apps you’re not using to clear them. Don’t forget to save important files before closing an app. You may lose all progress made.
  4. Tap on the app you’re using currently to return to it.

You can also visit recent apps using the App Switcher! Just tap on any app you recently used and you’ll be taken back to that app.
