Another Apple Supplier Confirms iPhone 12 Delay

Less than twenty-four hours ago, one of Apple's major suppliers, Broadcom, confirmed that the iPhone 12 is delayed for the anticipated September launch.

Originally, most Apple Leakers and prospective iPhone buyers expected Apple to follow its annual tradition of launching its products in early September.

Due to the interruptions from the coronavirus, Apple faces delays in its supply production, which leads to release delays.

This isn't the first iPhone 12 Delay News

As shocking as it may sound, this isn't the first time one of Apple's suppliers hinted about production and launch delays.

Back in July 2020, Apple's other supplier, Qualcomm, noted a

forecast for fourth-quarter chip revenue slightly lower than analysts expected because of a delayed "flagship phone launch" analyst believe is Apple's new iPhones.

Broadcom added to the conversation this week that the "next iPhone will arrive after the usual late September launch date.

What analysts believe is the next iPhone [12 series] will run into the final quarter of the calendar year, a quarter later than most years."

The delays are mainly due to the effects of the pandemic that slowed production and delayed the launch schedule.

What does Apple Leakers on Twitter Say?

Other reports from Apple Leaker and tech analyst Jon Prosser made similar predictions that the iPhone 12 event itself wouldn't be held until mid-October on the week of October 12.

Prosser also predicts that the iPhone 12 devices won't be ready to be preordered till the week of October 12 and most likely shipped the following week of October 19.

The iPhone 12 Pro models are anticipated to follow the same schedule but in the month of November.

Considering Qualcomm, Broadcom, and Prosser's predictions, the iPhone 12 series may not be seen until next month in October.
