Today, Apple announced Apple Fitness+, its fitness subscription service, will be launching on Monday, December 14.

The service can sync information from your Apple Watch with a workout video on an Apple TV, iPhone, or iPad—seamlessly allowing the user to view metrics like their heart rate, calories burned, and activity rings as they watch the instructors on the screen.

The Features

Fitness+ features an expansive directory of workout videos, encompassing a wide variety of styles such as core, strength, cycling, HIIT, yoga, dance, and even rowing, among many more.

Conveniently, most workouts do not require equipment, and in most cases, a pair of dumbbells is all you will need!

Moreover, an important component of any great workout is the music you listen to keep your head in the zone and the energy high. Users can select customized music while getting their sweat on, with options that sync with Apple Music.

Each week, Fitness+ will refresh and add new workouts to keep users excited and on their toes.

The Cost

The Apple Fitness+ subscription service can be found within the Fitness app on iOS, with a brand new app for the Apple TV on its way as well. It comes with a very affordable price tag of $9.99 per month or $79.99 for the whole year.

Currently, Apple is offering users three free months of Fitness+ with Apple Watch purchases; you can also find it as part of the Apple One Premier bundle, which costs $29.99 per month.

The service will launch for users in the United States, Canada, New Zealand, and Ireland on Monday, December 14, less than a week away. Are you ready to get your sweat on?
