Apple iPad Rumored to Get Screen & Chip Upgrades in 2021

Rumor has it that Apple's least expensive iPad is getting an upgrade!

Currently supporting a 10.2-inch screen and 32GB storage, Apple is reportedly making minor upgrades to the 9th-generation iPad with a 10.5-inch screen and 64GB storage.

9th-Gen. iPad Could Be Bigger than Before

According to the Chinese website cnBeta, there have been speculations of the ninth-generation iPad being slightly bigger than the current eighth-generation iPad in screen display and storage.

The ninth-generation ‌iPad‌ is rumored to have a larger, 10.5-inch LED display, the A13 Bionic chip, 4GB of RAM, and a thinner, lighter design. It will reportedly still have a Home Button with Touch ID and the Lightning port.

As for the configuration, due to pricing and other factors, the iPad 9 will not be equipped with the A14 processor. Instead, it will use the A13, built-in 4GB memory and 64GB storage (starting), and still has a Lighting interface. As for the price, it may be the same as the previous generation. It may start at US$299, and the Bank of China is expected to be 2499 yuan.
