The long-awaited Apple Event is confirmed by Apple themselves that it will be held on September 15, 2020, at 10:00 AM PDT (1:00 PM EDT).

While many of us will be at home watching the event online, the Apple Event "Time Flies" will be held at the Steve Jobs Theater on Apple Park in Cupertino, California.

Apple leakers previously predicted that the iPhone 12 will be announced in addition to other new Apple products like the Apple Watch Series 6 and the new iPad.

What is the Morphing AR Logo on iPhones for the Apple Event?

Apple does not disappoint everyone with its event announcement.

If you visit the webpage on your iPhone via Safari and press the blue Apple symbol, your phone will launch an Augmented Reality (AR) or object projection of the event logo.

In the AR view, you will see the continuously morphing blue Apple symbol in your surroundings.

In the Object mode, you can see the same morphing blue Apple symbol either on a white or black background, depending on if your iPhone is set to Dark Mode or not.

You can also engage with the AR logo on your iPad as well when you visit the event webpage on Safari.

Other than Apple's impressive reveal of the event, we still have questions and unconfirmed rumors about what to expect at the event.

What should we expect from the Virtual Apple Event?

Rumors swarm the internet that the iPhone 12 models will not be the focus for the September 15 Apple Event.

Apparently, the Apple Watch Series 6 will be the main event.

The tagline for the event, "Time Flies," suggests the focus on the new Apple Watch model. If this is true, the iPhone 12 series details will most likely follow a couple of weeks later.

Other rumored products include the Bluetooth tracking device AirTags and the new iPad models.

While nothing has been confirmed yet, the on-going reveal of Apple's patents keeps everyone guessing about the new products that Apple will share.

Another detail that strikes our attention is the Twitter hashtag, #AppleEvent with the blue Apple badge that expires on September 28. The expiration date could be suggesting the reveal of the iPhone 12 series either launched before or after September 28.

If you want to join the conversation about the upcoming virtual launch, share your thoughts on Twitter using the hashtag, #AppleEvent.
