watchOS 7.2 Beta 2
With watchOS 7.2, Apple Watch owners will unlock additional cardio fitness features, including notifications pushed when “your cardio fitness reaches a level where you may experience limitations in your daily activity.”
First discussed during the launch of the Apple Watch 6 in September, this feature will take advantage of the Apple Watch’s active VO2 max and SpO2 tracking to update Apple Watch wearers on their overall health.
With regular cardio fitness notifications alerting users of their low cardio activity, this could be a very useful feature for many.
Apple also pushed the latest developer beta (build 18K5556a) for fourth and fifth-generation Apple TV devices.
To our knowledge, the update contains minor bug fixes and improvements. No release notes have disclosed any additional information on tvOS 14.3 beta 2.
tvOS 14 added audio sharing, enhanced audio controls, Picture in Picture, multiuser support for gaming, and HomeKit camera support.
With tvOS 14.2, support for home theatre sound by connecting an Apple TV 4K to wireless headphones, wired speakers, and wireless speakers.
Currently, watchOS 7.2 beta 2 and tvOS 14.3 beta 2 are only available to developers enrolled in the Apple Developer Program. The downloads are available from the Apple Developer Center.
